Me, Myself, and I

Hey! I'm Pierre-Louis, but honestly, most people just call me Josh; it's simpler. I'm 19 and currently studying at Centrale Lyon in Saint-Étienne, France. Being in a preparatory class means about ten hours of math and another ten hours of physics every week; it's pretty intense! Sometimes I even dream about equations lol, and I like it!

I've always been super into computers; whether it's hardware, software, gaming, you name it. Eventually, that curiosity turned into a very very big passion for design, especially web design. I started by recreating websites I liked and just playing around until I understood how everything worked. Back in high school, I spent tons of time on Discord servers, helping random people fix their tech problems. Sometimes it felt like I was spending more time debugging strangers' issues than my own projects, but honestly, that sense of community was a big part of why I kept at it.

Somewhere along the way, I also got interested in modern art and architecture. Maybe it's just the aesthetic side that appeals to me, or maybe I'm just always looking for beauty wherever I can find it. Also, I randomly switch between French and English, probably because it gives me double the chances to say "I have no idea what I'm doing."

Lately, I've also gotten super interested in AI, everything from language models to image generation. One of my biggest dreams is to get a double degree from Centrale and an English or American university, and eventually become an AI researcher. And yeah, the ethics and safety sides fascinate me just as much as the tech itself.

On a more personal note, I’m not gonna pretend to be perfect; who is, right? We've all got our quirks and flaws, and honestly, that's what makes us interesting. I'm just here, trying to learn, experiment, and be a decent person as I figure things out.

And that's pretty much everything I know about myself so far! Thanks a ton for stopping by.
